  3. Thought Camus’s ‘The Plaque’ is good (and weird), nothing beats ‘The Stranger’ (by Camus, 2). I like to think that Steinbeck captured Camus’s desperate conclusive loneliness in his self-reflections in ‘Travels with Charley’…after the Nobel Prize…

    Nolan, I think, would agree.
